Give Local Missoula County

2016 Give Local Missoula County

Update: Beacuse of website issues at givelocalmissoula.org on Tuesday, May 3 donations will be accpeted through Wednesday, May 4 at 11:59 p.m.

Below is the official statement and donation instructions from the Missoula Community Foundation:

Due to ongoing technical issues with the online donation platform that the Missoula Community Foundation uses for Give Local Missoula, many donors have been unable to make a contribution today (Tuesday, May 3). This has not been just a local issue but also affected Give Local campaigns across Montana and many other places across the country.

The Missoula Community Foundation wants to express our apology for these technical difficulties. We know donors across Missoula care deeply about our local nonprofit community and the nonprofits have been working hard to mobilize their donor base to support this community wide effort.

To make the 2016 Give Local Missoula as successful as possible the Missoula Community Foundation is doing the following things:

• The Give Local Missoula County campaign will be extended until 11:59pm Wednesday May 4th. We encourage donors to attempt to donate at www.givelocalmissoula.org.
• Donors may write a check to the Missoula Community Foundation with their donation nonprofit of choice written in the memo line or write a note about which nonprofits they would like to contribute to and how much. Check donations can be delivered to the Missoula Community Foundation (111 N Higgins) by Wednesday May 4th or can be mailed to the Missoula Community Foundation postmarked by Wednesday May 4th.
• Nonprofits are allowed to direct their donors to contribute to their own online giving page. Contributions that come in on May 3rd and 4th will be counted toward the non-profits’ Give Local total.
