Critter Camp helps children build a sense of kindness, respect and responsibility for all animals and life. Meeting new friends while caring for shelter pets fosters self-esteem and confidence, in both two-legged and four-legged participants. Kids leave camp inspired to be animal ambassadors at home, in their neighborhood and in their community, while sharing what they have learned with their family, friends and neighbors.
2020 Critter Camp!
Please read below before registering for Critter Camp.
Dates listed on the website may not still be available when you go to the schedule. If your preferred session is not listed on the registration page, it is already full. Please choose one of the available sessions with space still open.
Registration is 100% online and spaces are filled immediately as applications and payments are submitted. Due to the popularity of Critter Camp and the online registration process, we are unable to hold any camp spots. Camp sessions often fill up quickly, especially the speciality camps like California Littles Camp and Pet Trainer Camp- we highly recommend registering online as soon as possible. You may also register in person at the shelter, but we cannot guarantee that space will still be available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept mailed camp applications and payments. Please email Shannon.Frizzell@myhswm.org if you have questions or need additional information.
