The Humane Society of Western Montana continues to help community members by providing a pet food pantry for those in need and for feral cat colony caregivers. Collars, leashes, food bowls, treats and other miscellaneous pet supplies are also available.
Pet food is kept in the building vestibule to keep it safe from pests. Please knock or call the shelter at 406-549-3934 during normal business hours to be let in.
Non-food supplies are left outside our front door on a table clearly marked "Free". Please take whatever you need!
If you or your organization is in need of specific help or have questions, please email the Community Engagement Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking to donate to the pet food pantry?
- Gallon and Quart sized ziplocs
- Canned dog and cat food
- Dry dog and cat food (open bags are fine, but please make sure re-bagged food is clearly labeled!)
- Treats (for shelter pets we primarily use hot dogs and cheese, but we can use dry treats for community programs)
- Gently used collars, leashes, harnesses, carriers, toys, washable blankets, and more!
Please leave your donations at the front door and knock if you have questions!
On behalf of the staff and the animals, thank you, woof and meow!
