We’re Presenting At Animal Care Expo!
We have been invited to give two presentations at Animal Care Expo this year in Pittsburgh! Animal Care Expo is the largest international educational conference and trade show for animal welfare professionals and volunteers.
The Rocky Boy Way – Presented by our Executive Director Marta Pierpoint and Chippewa-Cree Animal Care Coordinator Chistopher WolfChief. This presentation gives other organizations the guidance they need to start a tribal veterinary outreach program — following the program we have built alongside our friends in Rocky Boy since 2021.
Small Scale, Big Impact – Presented by our Director of Medicine, Dr. Sam Mitchell. Starting a spay/neuter program can feel overwhelming—but it doesn’t have to be. This workshop will empower veterinary professionals, shelter staff and animal welfare advocates to launch effective spay/neuter initiatives, even with limited resources.

One in three pets will go missing in its lifetime; and whether you have lost or found a pet the Humane Society of Western Montana is here to help. We partner with Petco Love Lost. Their database uses facial recognition technology to help reunite found pets with their owners.
